What is my cooling off period?

The cooling off period is 10 days from the point of enrolment for NZ and AU students, and 14 business days for UK, Irish and Global students.

Can I cancel my course outside of the cooling off period?

As a general rule, you cannot cancel your course if you are outside of your cooling off period.

However, you can apply to suspend or end your participation in your course in very limited circumstances if you experience a financial or other hardship – an unforeseen and extraordinary circumstance that significantly impacts your ability to continue with and/or pay for the course. An example could include a severe and/or debilitating injury or illness to you or a close family member that you support.

Please submit a suspension or cancellation request using the form on this page within 10 days of the hardship event occurring. Approval of applications will be at the reasonable discretion of The Career Academy, and any applicable fees or refunds will be determined in accordance with the program’s refund policy.
