As Student Advisor, you will be responsible for:

Sales Manager

Type: Permanent | Full-Time

The Sales Manager will focus on leading the Student Advisors and is ideal for someone who has a passion for education whilst also driving high performing sales professionals who love making a difference in people’s lives.  The successful candidate will know how to balance enjoying themselves and maintaining a professional collaborate environment, we are good at what we do and enjoy ourselves along the way.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales Performance:
    • The overall sales performance of the sales team including working with the CEO, Marketing Manager, and other Sales Managers to create and implement effective sales strategies
    • Recommend, implement, and monitor sales and marketing strategies to ensure conversion rate targets and sales targets are being achieved
    • Ensuring the lead life cycle is being followed by all student advisors

  • Leading & Mentoring:

    • Developing and motivating student advisors helping them achieve their goals including carrying out weekly check ins and team training sessions

Digital Learning Design Administrator

Full time

The Career Academy has a great opportunity for a self-motivated and creative Digital Learning Design Administrator to join our Learning Experience team. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills who can keep up to date on the latest learning & digital trends, and who has a keen eye for design and a passion for enhancing digital interfaces so that it is in line with current end user expectations.

Working remotely with a diverse team, you will be responsible for designing a fresh look for the LMS and then working with the team to implement these changes. You know how to keep the learner and internal stakeholders at the heart of all your decisions, from researching “best in business”, to training implementation (in conjunction with the learning experience team) and subsequent analysis of student behaviour  – you will never be bored!
Your passion for presenting information in an easy to digest manner will show in everything you do, and your commitment to improving the LMS will shine through.

In addition to enhancing the LMS you will also be involved in:

  • Creating short educational videos
  • Providing troubleshooting advice to internal users to enhance the overall design and useability of the LMS
  • Analysing data from Google Analytics and suggesting actions to improve the user experience and student completion
  • Providing guidance to improve the system to meet business and student needs.
  • Developing interactive and engaging learning materials using a variety of eLearning authoring tools such as iSpring/Articulate 360 and H5P.
  • Applying knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in multimedia design and development.
  • Advising on the application of current instructional design methods, technologies, and eLearning authoring software, to continually improve our content and delivery.
  • Contribute to design thinking sessions that create a point of difference, such as digital badging, leader boards, avatars, digital stories, and other tools that could enhance the learner’s experience and subsequent implementation of agreed approaches.
  • Designing learning activities to achieve a required behaviour change.
  • Advising and supporting internal stakeholders to use the LMS effectively.

Marketing Manager

The primary role of the Marketing Manager is to establish and maintain a leading digital marketing strategy to meet organisational objectives, supporting the business to grow through generating brand awareness, drive customer conversion and provide value to shareholders via digital channel amplification. Their focus will be on four distinctive areas including sales/lead management, team management, technical management, and communication.

As the Global Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Run weekly marketing meetings and ensure a high level of communication is maintained with sales and marketing.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to optimise all paid advertising is vital to ensuring sales teams are given all the proper resources to succeed in hitting revenue targets.
  • Ensuring all marketing team members workloads and managed, allocated on a weekly basis and monitored so that all teams have oversight of requested projects.
  • Execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing reports.
  • Reporting and analysis on ROI data is vital for ensuring the spend is bringing in a high enough return to be considered an investment.
  • Manage the overall marketing budget ensuring that spend on a weekly basis fit within the quarter and annual budget while also maximising the ROI utilising the strategies defined within the bi-annual strategy meetings.
  • Meet with all sales managers on a weekly basis to ensure the sales teams are given the best tools to succeed.
  • At least 1-2 years as a marketing manager with a minimum of 4 years within the digital marketing field
  • A comprehensive understanding of Google Analytics & Google AdWords, HubSpot, WordPress, SEMrush, languages such as HTML and CSS, social media marketing platforms including Facebook and Instagram and SEO best practices
  • Creating and developing marketing strategies including budget and project management

Payment Services Specialist – UK/IE

Full time/ Permanent: 37.50 hours per week

The Career Academy is an emerging force within the online education industry in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and United Kingdom. We strive to make the learning experience as engaging and stimulating as possible and pride ourselves on our industry-recognised courses. We are looking for a customer centric person to join our tight knit Payment Services & Cancellation team.

The primary purpose of the role of a Payment Services Specialist is to assist The Career Academy and its students by facilitating payments, encouraging student payments, minimising overdue levels, help improve the company payment conversions and maintaining a high level of payment services student experience.

  • Responsible for answering student enquiries via Zoho and assisting in resolving their overdue payment plan accounts via inbound and outbound calls within Service Level Agreements.
  • Responsible for assisting students in facilitating their payments and making sure they are on the correct payment plan setup.
  • Responsible for contacting students, educating them about their payment plan contract and encouraging them to resume or continue with their payments including processing recoveries when applicable.
  • Responsible for adequately documenting each student engagement in CRM.
  • Responsible for handling escalations from students, answering internal queries, and disputes relating to payments from students.
  • Responsible for working with the Team Leader and Team to ensure all required tasks are completed weekly and to achieve the targeted KPI’s as defined each period.
  • Providing exceptional payment services student experience through quality interactions that meet the student’s needs at the first point of contact.
  • Responsible for completing ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management team.

This will be a diverse and challenging role, in a fast-paced environment, which includes being the key point of contact for payment services/collections in Ireland and United Kingdom.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in collections (credit control or debt collection) and an end to end understanding of the collection process
  • Attention to detail, a hard-working, driven attitude
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Zoho, CRM, Eazipay, &Eazycollect are ideal
  • Customer service and risk management experience
  • Have worked in a phone-based customer service role before
  • Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and commitment
